My art project was to create a sideshow. I used Slide.com which I found as a link on wordpress.com. I had originally tried doing one with PhotoBucket but could not figure out how to post the code in my blog. I also wanted to be able to post the slide-show on my art page but it automatically posted it as a post.
Art comes in many forms, as a student, and mother who also works part time I don’t have all the time that I used to to write and create. The slide-show program allows me to arrange photos, and share them with family and friends. This is a very innovative way for people to use technology and turn it into a piece of artwork. The program had different backgrounds, layouts, and color options for creating a slide-show. It also gave me a list of music videos I could add to the show. I found this program easy to use and self explanatory. It allowed me to try out different options before I saved it. The tools I used were my computer, internet, and my digital camera which I used to download photos onto my Pictures File. I was also able to use photos I had saved on my PhotoBucket account. This slide-show program provided links and codes to MySpace, FaceBook, and other blog like internet programs for easy sharing.
My inspiration for this art should be obvious. I love taking pictures, especially pictures of my family and beautiful, growing girl. I will continue to use these programs to share and edit photos for my family and friends. The slide-shows are fun to create. I didn’t add any captions to the pictures but this is an option as well.
